Taichung City Eyes - The Traffic Hub of Central Taiwan
Da-Ya ( Zhong-Qing ) Interchange is the fourth busiest interchange system of the National Highway 1, which is second to the Yuan-Shan and Shih-Lin Interchanges of Taipei and the Chung-Cheng Interchange of Kaohsiung in traffic flow. Ta-Ya Interchange connects to Chung-Ching Road or Taichung-Changhua Expressway (Huan-Chung Road); hence, vehicles from every corner of Taiwan take advantage of the interchange to reach the industrial parks, commercial zones, residential areas and transport hub in Taichung.

Zhong-Qing Road, the third largest traffic artery of Taichung City, is the main trunk road in Taichung City, which connects National Highway 1 and 3, Central Taiwan Science Park and Taichung International Airport. Shui Nan Economic and Trade Park currently constructed under the government-private sector cooperation also makes uses of Zhong-Qing Road as the access road.

Taiwan Expressway 74 is not only the expressway connecting Taichung, Zhanghua and Nantou, but also the bypass route system of Taichung City reaching the residential areas with intensive population, such as Bei-Tun Districct, Xi-Tun District, Da-Li District and Taichung Hsin-Yi District Phase VII zone. Moreover, the expressway is also the trunk road reaching THSR Taichung Station, Taichung Industrial Park, Tan-Zi Export Processing Zone, and Zhunghua Coastal Industrial Park.
